このブログより、/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.confの最後に以下を追記。

Section “InputClass”
Identifier “no need for accelerometers in X”
MatchProduct “SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad”
Option “Ignore” “on”
EndSection
